Mischief Marketing: How the Rich, Famous, & Successful Really Got Their Careers and Businesses Going (and ReviewI picked this book up on a whim (it had an interesting cover) at the airport and was very pleasantly surprised. I liked it so much I felt compelled to e-mail the author to praise him. Now here I am writing a note on Amazon! A word of warning, however: if you are a traditional "suit," like I used to be, the book is probably not for you. But if you aren't a suit and have a very clever idea the world needs, this book is a must for your library. For me, Mischief Marketing opened the floodgates to many new ideas. I'm getting on a bit in life but I still came across dozens of eye-opening---even inspirational---themes that run throughout the book. I do wish the book came across as a bit more serious. It was great to be able to laugh outloud on almost every page, but I was somewhat disappointed that many good ideas in the book weren't explored with enough depth---almost as if they were just tossed in as an aside. I give it 4 1/2 stars (rounded up to 5). I highly recommend this book.
